So what exactly can an agency do for you? Here at Frog Recruitment, we think our unique and candidate focussed approach will not only enable you to stand out from the crowd, but provide you with the best possible representation of your personal brand.
Some candidates can find the prospect of working with a recruiter daunting and even intimidating. The good news is that it doesn’t have to be. There are steps candidates can take to partner with a recruiter, build mutually beneficial relationships, and not only land the perfect role but assist you with your career choices.
What you can expect from Frog are likeminded individuals who are as passionate about your career as you are. Working with them to find your next opportunity will be a rewarding experience! Here is how to begin the process…
Initially, the best way to have your details captured is to apply online for specific roles that are currently available with Frog through one of our online job advertisements. Whether you are successful in proceeding or not, now that your details have been captured in our TalentPool, your CV can be searched upon for any future suitable opportunities when they come in. To further ensure that you are considered for any roles you may find suitable, include keywords in your CV relevant to the work you are looking for, so that your details will be easily found.
As you can imagine, we receive a lot of applications on a daily basis, however here at Frog, we pride ourselves on responding to every single application that comes our way, whether by phone or eCommunication, your application will be responded to! In our line of work, we’ve been hearing all sorts of horror stories in the market about candidates not being responded to. Never fear, you will hear back from us. We will provide honest and clear feedback, and will always take the time to answer enquiries and provide any specific feedback you may ask of us. We aim to respond to you within the first 48 hours of your enquiry.
When it comes to matching suitable applicants with the roles that we have, we are highly driven by the details and criteria given to us by our clients – sometimes we can stray from this and then there are times when our clients are very specific. If the details on your details are looking like a close match to our client’s criteria, we will make contact with you to complete an initial phone screen and all going well with that, the next step is an interview with us here at Frog.
As we all know, interviews can be daunting and it’s hard to know what to expect when attending one. An interview for us here at Frog is all about getting to know you as a person and about what you would bring to potential employers in the way of skills, experience and cultural fit, but it also gives you the opportunity to ask any questions about the role as well. Part of the interview will be competency based questions… you know the ones “Tell me about a time”, “Give me an example”. The best way to answer these types of questions is to have specific examples, describe the situation, your approach and what the outcome was. Also what you need to know is, we’re not here to catch you out or make you feel uncomfortable… as cheesy as it sounds, we are here to help you. We want to help you present yourself and your details in the best light.
We will also cover what your expectations are: expectations of remuneration (it’s always good as a base to know what your current remuneration is as well), expectations of potential employers and managers, expectations of your ideal role… it’s all about making sure we are all on the same page with regard to assisting you in your job search.
At interview you will also be asked to provide referee details for two people you have previously reported to – this is to validate your work history and experience. It’s always good to give your referees a heads up that we will contact them. Please assure them that we will only take 10 minutes at a time that suits them. From there, the next steps are at the client’s discretion.
Remember, interviews are a two-way street: the more information you give us, the better we will be able to represent you.
A one off interview is not the last you will hear from us. Once you have met with one of our team, you will become part of our Frog Community, where you will be kept up to date with the latest market information and anything that we feel as a CareerSeeker, you need to know.
During an interview with us, you will be introduced to one of our Client Service Managers – they are your link to our clients. If you are referred to our client, they will pick up the communication for the remainder of the process and take you through it step by step, from organising client interviews, to providing feedback post client interview in a timely manner post client interview. They will even assist when offers are made and can negotiate on your behalf… again we are here to help. If you are not successful proceeding for the role you interviewed for, don’t fret, you will hear about other opportunities either directly or through our eCommunications.
Be assured, anything you tell us or details you provide us with, will remain strictly confidential. Your details will not be shared with our clients for opportunities without your permission… it’s just not how we work. It‘s a partnership!
